Off-Campus Library Services: Renewing and Returning Library Material

This guide is designed to assist Distance Education with accessing materials for their research.

Renewing Books

Any time you receive a package of library resources, you will find that we include information about return dates.  If a due date is approaching and you still would like to use the material, contact Robert Kowaluk at (204) 727-9641 - or call the library's Toll Free Number at 1-877-253-6765 and ask for Robert. He will renew any material which does not have a hold placed on it.  If you fail to do so, the library will consider the books to be overdue and you will incur library fines (50 cents per day, per item).

Returning Books

Any photocopied items - such as ERIC Documents or Journal Articles - are yours to keep, and need not be returned.   Information about return dates for all other items, should be included in the package of materials sent out to you. The package will also include a  prepaid mailing label  so that library materials may be returned to Brandon University at no charge to you.

Please return books on time. If you fail to do so, the library will conside the books to be overdue, and you will incure library fines. Library fines are charged at 50 cents per day per item.
