The Canadian Library Challenges Database

The CFE-CFLA/FCAB Canadian Library Challenges Database records each challenge a library receives regarding a request to:

  • Remove or restrict access to an item in its collection
  • (In the case of schools) Remove or restrict access to an item in its library collection or in the school's curriculum resources
  • Cancel or change programs or speakers the library is sponsoring
  • Remove, restrict access to, or alter exhibits or displays
  • Change computer/Internet use practices and policies
  • Cancel or modify any space usage/rentals commitments the library has made
