The CFE-CFLA/FCAB Canadian Library Challenges Database records each challenge a library receives regarding a request to:
- Remove or restrict access to an item in its collection
- (In the case of schools) Remove or restrict access to an item in its library collection or in the school's curriculum resources
- Cancel or change programs or speakers the library is sponsoring
- Remove, restrict access to, or alter exhibits or displays
- Change computer/Internet use practices and policies
- Cancel or modify any space usage/rentals commitments the library has made
