Finding Books

If you want to find some books, you can look in:

• The BU library catalog : Use to locate Books, Videos, Sound Recordings, Government Publications, and other material held in the library.
• Western Manitoba Regional Library
• Popular Library Catalogs: Highly used library Catalogs.
• WorldCat: One Library Catalog for libraries worldwide. You can use Inter-Library Loans to request books held in other libraries.
• The library has access to electronic books.

Research Tips

• Always write down the Call Number and Location of any item you want to find in the library
• If you need to find more books, try searching other Library Catalogs and request books through Inter-Library Loans
• To find Journal Articles on your topic search a Database
• Try using more than one word to represent your topic
