Note: If you are off campus and are not a BU student, faculty, or staff member, you will only be able to see the records for the online resources, not the full text of the resources. You need to be on the BU campus and logged into the guest wifi to access the full resources. You can do this on your own device, or you can ask for a username and password to use the library computers. This will require a valid, government issued, photo ID.

2. Online Databases
Below are clickable links to databases that are specifically focused on gender and sexuality:
Contains the full text for more than 120 of the most important and historically significant LGBT journals, magazines and regional newspapers, as well as more than 150 full-text monographs and books.
Primary Source Materials including documents, letters, diaries, books, pamphlets, images, maps
Here you can find articles and essay collections primarily dealing with women, sexuality, or gender in medieval history.
3. Online Journals
Below is a list of journal titles that contain one or more of the 2SLGBTQIA+ terms in the subject:
When you click on a journal title, you are taken to the catalogue record for that journal. Click on the blue link under "View it" to go to the journal site. Click one of the blue links at the right to look at a specific year or issue of the journal.
If you want to search the entire journal, click on the blue link "Search within this publication", and then add AND in the search box before adding your search term.
