Chicago Style has two systems for citing sources.

One is referred to as Notes and Bibliography, and is the style preferred by the History Department and Native Studies Department at Brandon University. 

The other system is called Author-Date and is preferred by the Political Science Department.

The library has purchased the Chicago Manual of Style in e-book format.  Click on the "Citation Quick Guide" tab to choose Notes and Bibliography OR Author-date instructions:
