Education Resources: Find Books

Guide to teaching and education resources in the Library and on the web

Finding Books

The One Stop Search box on the Library homepage is where to search for books:

1. If you're looking for a specific book, enter the title in the One Stop Search box.

2. If you're looking for books on a topic, enter 2 or 3 key words that best describe your topic in the One Stop Search box. This search results will show a variety of types of resources but you can narrow to "books" using the column on the left.  You can then further narrow to 'Full Text Online' and narrow results further using some of the other limiters.

InterLibrary Loans

Interlibrary Loans

Interlibrary loans (ILL) provides access to journal articles, books and other items unavailable through the library. The service is available to all students, staff and faculty, is usually free and can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, depending on the library supplying us.

ILLs can be submitted to us via various Databases, as well as via our Online Forms. In either case, you will need to use your Brandon University ILL account to do so.

For more information, see the Interlibrary Loan page.
