What you need to know

How do I access to the Library's resources?

  • You can come to the Library to study or sign out physical items anytime during Library Hours
  • To access online resources and services, go to the Library website and enter your search in the large search box that says One Stop Search. Once you have a result list, when you click on an online item in the Library collection you will be prompted to authenticate as a Brandon University student. Enter your BU email address and password.

How can I get help with doing research?

There are many options:

- See the "Library Instructional Videos" page on this guide. These videos show you how to use some of the Library resources.

- Use the Chat button on the Library homepage. Closed during Spring and Summer Session. During the Fall and Winter sessions, virtual librarian help is available from 10 am - 4 pm, Monday to Friday. Closed on weekends.   Here's some information about the chat service:
