University Affairs

Source for news and information about higher education in Canada. Some content is free (in particular there are news feeds and links to other sites) and anything not freely available can be read in the library's copy of University Affairs.

Chronicle of Higher Education

Some articles are only for subscribers, but some are free.  This publication is also in the library if you want to read the articles for subscribers.

CAUT

Canadian Association of Univerity Teachers puts out news, publications and advocacy issues that discuss issues in higher education from the perspective of educators and that impact educators. They were the leading critic of the the Federal Government's decision to decimate Library and Archives Canada. 

EDUCAUSE

EDUCAUSE is a nonprofit association whose mission is to advance higher education through the use of information technology.

For a broad look at events impacting higher education, this news source is good. 

Academic's Top 10

Daily listing of the top 10 stories impacting higher education.  Has good list of stories about Canda.

TED Talks

Series of broadcast talks by leaders in their fields of knowledge. Its motto is "Ideas Worth Spreading".
