Census Profiles, Community Profiles, and Geography Links

Census Profiles provide information about places in Canada by the level of census geography – such as provinces, territories, census metropolitan areas, communities, tracts and health regions. Type in the name of the place (such as Brandon), browse a list, or enter any of the codes indicated on the site. The information - characteristics - may include population, age, sex, dwellings, families, marital status, and language.

Prior to 2011, Census Profiles were known as Community Profiles.

Census geography refers to geographic areas. Geographic areas have boundaries, names, and other information which allows a user to connect them to a ground location and corresponding census data.
