Almanacs
Almanacs are encyclopedias that are updated annually. These were quite useful in the days before the internet. Really. Here's a selection:
- CIA World Factbook
Provides information on the history, people, government, economy, geography, communications, transportation, military, and transnational issues for 266 world entities. - Information Please Almanac All the facts from the printed almanac, plus a dictionary and encyclopedia.
- Old Farmer's Almanac Electronic version of North America's oldest continuously published almanac includes weather forecasts, sunrise and ocean tide tables, gardening advice, historical facts, household advice and classified ads.
- World Almanac Contains a broad array of Information about each country.
