Moodle - Students: Home

What is Moodle?

Moodle is an acronym for Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment

Some Faculty and some other services on BU campus use Moodle to interact with students. This may include

  • sharing learning materials,
  • posting assignments,
  • submitting assignments,
  • posting quizzes,
  • providing feedback,
  • tracking marks, and
  • communicating through email, forums, and discussion groups. This can take several forms - including student to student, professor to student, and student to professor.

The link to BU Moodle is here.

FYI: when Faculty directs you to their Moodle site, you may be given an enrollment 'key'. It is a code which you will use to access specific class content within the Moodle site. The Library or IT does NOT have access to these codes. ONLY professors have access to these keys.

Can I access Moodle from home?

Yes.

With an internet connection, and a current BU username and password, you can access Moodle from anywhere.
