Moodle - Students: Log into Moodle

Getting into Moodle - 3 possible access points

Once at the Moodle site, you may see a couple of log-in options. It might be...

Note the question on the right side. If it IS your first time, and you are a BU student, but have not yet claimed your username and password, follow the directions -

  • make a copy of the link
  • enter it into the address line on your device,
  • and go through the process.

On the left side, if you know your BU username and password, use them to log in.

Some content in Moodle will allow you to log on as a guest. For this option, you will not need a username and password, but remember, you will not be able to access all content.

#2 You may also see this log-in page at some point....

You may see an option for My Courses in the upper left corner.

If you do not see the link for My Courses, don't worry. All it means is that you need to use the Moodle enrolment key from your professor. Each class for which you have registered will have its own enrolment key. Once you enrol, you will see My Courses appear.

For details on enroling in your Moodle course, see here.

#3: There is also ANOTHER place you may login...there's a very small Username and Password option to log in over in the upper right corner of the same page.

Once you log in, you will see YOUR name in that upper left corner.
