The virtual displays for June are Filipino Heritage Month, Italian Heritage Month, Pride Month, and Rose Month.

Beginning in 2018, Filipino Heritage Month is held annually throughout June to recognize and celebrate all Canadians of Filipino descent. This display contributes by highlighting the culture, diaspora, and history of the Philippines and Filipino around the world.
Canada is home to over 1.5 million people with Italian heritage, representing about 3.6% of the population. This display celebrates their collective contribution to Canada. It will showcase works on their creative fiction, history, music, and religion.
Roses are one of the most beautiful and romanticized flowers. June’s primary birth flower is roses, and June is National Rose Month in Canada. Roses have inspired artists for generations. It moves people to act on love and inspiration. This display celebrates all 300+ species of roses.
International Pride Day is held on June 28th annually after the Stonewall riots in 1969. June is recognized as a month for celebrating and educating people on the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Canada goes one step further by hosting Pride events from June to September. This display specifically covers community, introductory information, and the Two-Spirit community.
